VGR Shipping Agency traces its roots back to 1976, when George Rousanoglou established the family shipping agency in Igoumenitsa. During the following decades, the agency represented a number of established passenger shipping companies operating in the Adriatic, including Agoudimos Lines, Hellenic Mediterranean Lines, Makedonia Ferries, Adriatic Lines and Achaic Lines.
In 2003, VGR Shipping was established by Vasilios Rousanoglou, continuing the family’s maritime tradition and expanding its activities into cargo vessels, port agency and marine services.
Today, VGR Shipping provides 24/7 professional agency and operational support to shipowners, managers, operators and charterers, with a strong presence in Igoumenitsa, Preveza and Corfu and the capability to support vessels throughout Greece.
Our experience covers commercial vessels, cargo operations, project cargo, marine logistics, ship supplies, OPL and anchorage services, crew assistance and special port operations.
Over the years, VGR Shipping has supported major industrial and energy projects, including operations related to cement carriers, wind-energy equipment and specialised cargoes.
